Avigilon Alta is a cloud-based security system that sets it apart from the more traditional on-premises hardware solutions.
As part of the Motorola group, it can be integrated into multiple other products and services available within the group to reduce the integration risk for the building.
The hardware has multi-factor authentication, which means that people can either:
- Swipe their hand in front of the reader
- Using Bluetooth they can automatically unlock
- Hold their mobile phone against the reader
As a cloud-based solution, Avigilon offered a full suite of analytics on the occupancy data collected from the access pass usage and video footage from CCTV cameras.
