Bath Road Portfolio Technology Audits

Trustek conducted technology audits across three office assets within SEGRO's Bath Road portfolio.

Building Size: Whole Portfolio

Location: Bath Road, Slough

Overview

Following recently completed work with SEGRO, Trustek completed technical building assessments across three office assets within the Bath Road portfolio. The assets vary in age and refurbishment programme, and each carries a unique technology stack used to run and operate the building day-to-day.

The Audit

The core focus of the audit was to ensure that, as part of the ongoing marketing campaign for the vacant space across the buildings, there was a clear and accurate understanding of the technologies available — not only for the operating and managing agent for the portfolio, JLL, but also to ensure that the data required by modern occupiers was readily available to prospective tenants considering taking space at one of the Bath Road assets.

The audit provided a timely opportunity to review the operational technology stack across these buildings, identify any gaps, and ensure that these could be addressed by JLL so that any forthcoming occupier would have full transparency over the data they have access to, as well as the connectivity and optimisation technologies available to them as an occupier within these assets.

Looking Ahead

The key outcomes from the audit process were to identify a metering upgrade scheme, review energy optimisation across the buildings, and ensure that the configuration of the Building Management Systems (BMS) within each asset was functioning in accordance with the original designs.
